A proud native and product of Hattiesburg, Mississippi. T. D. Reed is an alumnus of Petal High School, class of 2019. T. D. Reed has served and gained knowledge and understanding at several funeral homes and local morticians, both living and now deceased.
Born into philanthropic royalty in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, he has always carried entrepreneurship deep within his soul. His godfather, the late Otis Wayne McMickle, and Longtime Family Friends such as Ira Peterson, S. Daniels, and GF masterfully taught him how to approach the funeral industry by arming him with an extraordinary reservoir of discretion, wisdom, and judicious fiscal shrewdness.
After obtaining an Associate of Mortuary Science in Professional Studies from Gupton Jones College of Funeral Service, he was licensed by the State of Mississippi Funeral Service Board. Reed made history in South Mississippi by opening a Funeral Home at the age of 24. The Grand Opening for the Citizens of the community, along with family were held on his 25th birthday, Sunday, November 9, 2025. An upright premier Black-owned Funeral firm in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, offering custom and traditional services from burials, memorials, and cremation rites and rituals.
T. D. embodies the steadfast devotion, insatiable wit, and revolutionary ethos that so many lavished upon his life.
